Proposed Amendments to PBSA By-Laws
Two proposed amendments to the PBSA By-Laws:
1.) Article XIV - Section 1 - Part B
Addition of the following paragraph:
If determined, by the Assistant Director of Slow Pitch Softball, there are not enough teams in any or all divisions to have an inclusive in-house season, the following can be executed:
1.) Our existing age tiers can be altered to: 8U/10U/12U/15U/18U
2.) Teams in those age tiers can then register to play in the G.P.G.S.L. (Greater Pittsburgh Girls Softball League) or other alternate community leagues.
2.) Article VI - Section 12
Addition of the following
Duties of the Director of Player Development
a.) Actively work with coaches in the Tball, Rookie & 8U divisions on what to teach, how to execute practices, and proper field maintenance.
b.) Facilitate clinics for coaches and players focusing on the fundamentals of baseball and softball
